Student Voice against Nicolás Maduro Regime
The movement stands for Venezuelan human rights and the restoration of democracy through peaceful and lawful means. It was created to unite people who believe that every Venezuelan deserves a dignified life, one with access to freedom, justice, and opportunity, free from repression and corruption. The movement aims to amplify Venezuelan voices and increase global awareness of the humanitarian and political crisis affecting millions.
It is built on the principles of truth, justice, and freedom. The movement rejects authoritarianism in all its forms and advocates for the establishment of democratic institutions that serve the people, rather than those in power. Its purpose is not to divide along political lines but to bring together everyone who values democracy and human rights as universal principles.
Through education, advocacy, and collaboration with humanitarian organizations, the movement works to inspire action and solidarity for Venezuela. It believes that meaningful change comes through unity, peaceful resistance, and the defense of fundamental human dignity, values that transcend borders and ideologies.

Our Mission

The Gloria al Bravo Pueblo Movement (GBPM) is dedicated to fighting for human rights and democracy in Venezuela. We inspire action among students, aiming for a transition to democracy and accountability for human crime violations.

Our principles as a movement:
1. Democracy first: We believe Venezuela must complete a peaceful transition from dictatorship to a democratic system that guarantees free and fair elections, separation of powers, and civilian control of institutions.
2. Opposition to Chavismo: We oppose authoritarian Chavista policies and demand accountability for those who commit human-rights violations under any political banner.
3. Human rights for all: We stand for the universal and indivisible human rights of every Venezuelan: life, dignity, food, health, education, security, freedom of expression, and due process.
4. Accountability, not impunity: We demand transparent investigations and legal accountability for human-rights abuses and corruption, carried out according to international law and due process.
5. Nonpartisan and inclusive: Our movement welcomes people of all political views who commit to democracy and human rights. We work across ideological divisions to restore Venezuelan democracy.
6. Protection of civil liberties: We defend freedom of speech, academic freedom, the rights of protesters, and protections for journalists and whistleblowers.
7. Humanitarian solidarity: We organize and support humanitarian aid to Venezuelans in need, prioritizing reputable organizations and direct relief that respects recipients’ dignity.
8. Support for transitional institutions: We back efforts to build impartial electoral authorities, an independent judiciary, and professional public services as pillars of democratic recovery.
9. Diaspora partnership: We collaborate with the Venezuelan diaspora to amplify survivors’ voices, coordinate aid, and preserve historical memory.
10. Anti-discrimination: We oppose xenophobia, racism, sexism, homophobia, and all forms of discrimination - both within our movement and in society.
11. Education and truth: We promote fact-based education about Venezuela’s political and humanitarian crisis, fight disinformation, and defend the role of independent media.
